Police: Henrietta man tried to steal TV from Inn on Broadway | Crime

A 21-year-old Henrietta man is facing charges after police found him hiding in the basement of the Inn at Broadway.

Martin Ryan is charged with third-degree burglary and attempted grand larceny.

Police say they were called to the Inn on Broadway for the report of a suspicious male inside. When officers arrived, they saw that a basement window had been broken. A K9 officer and his partner Hawk entered the building and found the suspect. According to police, Ryan was trying to steal a 50-inch TV.

Ryan was treated for a dog bite to his wrist and then charged.
