Local acapella ensembles headline fundraiser for Camp Good Days | Events
Local acapella groups will raise their voices in song as part of fundraiser for Camp Good Days at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday November 24 in the Webb Auditorium located in James E. Booth Hall at RIT.
The event is open to the general public. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased on campus at the RIT Student Alumni Union at lunchtime during the week of November 18 and at the door the evening of the show.
Ensembles performing are well-known local groups including Proof of Purchase, Surround Sound and Brick City Singers from RIT, the YellowJackets and After Hours from the University of Rochester and Cut-Off, a professional group from the Rochester area.
The event is part of an engineering class in project management. Kelly Stover is a fifth-year industrial and systems engineering student, and the project's organizer. Stover is also a member of RIT’s Proof of Purchase, a co-ed a cappella group, and mixed a personal interest with a class assignment.One of Stover's team members suggested Camp Good Days.
