Rush-Henrietta's Christian Harris heading to Albany

Christian Harris won a state title and two Section 5 championships during his four-year football career at Rush-Henrietta.

Thanks to a talent for catching and defending passes, Harris was getting looked at by several colleges. For the talented wide receiver and defensive back his college search lead him to a familiar place - with a familiar face.

Harris signed his national letter of intent to play football for the University at Albany beginning in the fall. Christian will reunite with his older brother Clay who will be entering his sophomore season next year.

Christian was one of the more versatile players on the Royal Comets the last two seasons. He scored 16 touchdowns as either a receiver, running back and kick returner. Harris also finished with eight interceptions.

Harris, who also plays basketball and baseball at R-H, chose Albany after looking at several schools including Wagner, Maine and Duquense.
